Mortuary Station
This project was taken from concept to execution throughout the course of 10 weeks for a graduate game art class at SCAD. We made a concept for an environment, modeled it out, textured it, and then lit and rendered it using Unreal Engine. One of the primary goals of this project was to create an environment with the use of a handful of modular pieces.
The concept that I went with was one of a mortuary station, that is, stations which existed for funerary train lines before transporting bodies by car became the more popular option. While but a brief note in history, the concept and aesthetic of these train stations were fascinating to me.
